The Green Mountain Montessori School is located in a wonderfully restored 1820’s brick farmhouse in the heart of Essex Town. History and beauty meet with practicality inside the school. Large sunny windows and gleaming wide-board spruce floors entice the children into the classroom – a comfortable environment where numerous learning stations await their creativity and energy. 

A picture-perfect white picket fence surrounds a generous and inviting play area with beautiful trees and intriguing nooks that will light the children’s’ imaginations. Through the side yard is another favorite hangout that we are lucky to call our neighbor – the Essex Town Library. 

The location is also inviting for Mom & Dad, as it is right on the commuting path from communities north and east of Burlington – just two blocks away from the intersection of Route 15 and Route 128.
