Carolyn Piche, has 6 daughters, 14 grand children and one great grand son due in December 2019. She began working with all ages of children in 1998, as a Assistant Librarian/ Children's Librarian at the Alburgh Public Library.
She spent her time hosting story time, doing crafts and many other programs also through the winter months. She also helped host a twice monthly Friday night movie night, joined the 4th of July parade with their summer reading program theme and spent Summers busy as a bee with children from in and out of state who took advantage of their programs.
After several years she moved away to start a new journey, tried my hand at a few different jobs until I found my calling as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA). She took care of the elderly, teaching them to help themselves, helping them to relearn what they may have forgotten, and helping them get become well enough to go home or to an assisted living space, where they could keep earning in a supervised environment.
All in all she enjoys teaching people of all ages no matter what needs they may have, Children need to learn the new, where as the elderly need to be retaught what they once knew. So it gives here great pleasure to be here at Green Mountain Montessori, where she can teach but also learn from the children.
