Green Mountain Montessori School is currently seeking an experienced, Montessori-certified Primary Classroom Teacher (ages 3-6) for a full-time position beginning on 8/22/2019. The Classroom Teacher will oversee all aspects of classroom operation. They plan and implement curriculum for the children in their classes, cooperating with their level teaching teams to review and revise program curriculum as necessary. Classroom Teachers must be excellent preparers of the environment, taking overall responsibility for creating and maintaining an orderly, safe, and appropriately challenging learning environment for children in their class. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and flexible; have strong communication skills; have the ability to function in a cooperative team-teaching environment; and be able to collaborate with other educators in our community to create an environment where children play, socialize, explore, and grow together as global citizens.
This is a full-time position for the 2018-19 school year
Hours are M-F, 7:30am to 4:00pm, plus attendance at required staff meetings and parent meetings and school events
Salary is competitive/commensurate with experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Montessori certification for ages 3-6
Experience working in a Montessori classroom
Bachelor's Degree or beyond
At least 3 professional references Preferred
Additional Experience is a plus
