Kathleen
Kathleen grew up as an army brat, traveling and living throughout the United States and Europe. She and her three brothers spent many years exploring and sharing adventures from crossing the Atlantic on the SS United states, the fastest ocean liner in the world, to skiing down the Alps in Bavaria. She attended College in Munich, Germany, experiencing the Olympics and the horrible attack on the Israeli athletes. Kathleen later returned to the United States, completing her BS degree at the University of Maryland in Early Childhood Education.
She married an army officer and raised two sons while continuing to teach in various capacities and work as a freelance writer. She is the author of over 100 "Auto the Auto" stories for AAA traffic safety education, and many articles for magazines and professional publications. After moving to Vermont, she returned to school to earn her MA in School Counseling.
Kathleen currently works at the Alburgh Community Education Center as a School Counselor where she happily works with over 200 Pre-K through 8th graders, and is very happy to join the staff at Green Mountain Montessori School as their Act 166 Consultant
